A middling midrange cell phone, the Pantech Breeze is misleadingly marketed as dead simple to use. While it’s certainly not complex, it’s no Samsung Jitterbug, a handset that’s truly designed for the technophobic. Measuring 4 by 2 by 0.7 inches (HWD) and weighing 3.4 ounces, the Breeze is a slim, handsome flip phone sporting a white pearlescent sheen. There’s a dim 1.04-inch-diagonal external screen on the outside. Flip the handset open to see its first effort at simplicity: three quick-dial buttons marked 1, 2, and 3. They sit below a big-enough, bright-enough, 2.2-inch LCD. The main keypad buttons are also sizable, and they’re nicely spread out for a comfortable, tactile feel. On the side of the handset, you’ll find a slender volume button and a nonstandard headphone jack.
